Girdwood & Williams, PLLC is a law firm serving greater southeastern North Carolina. Formed in 2013 by Scott Girdwood and Ben Williams, the firm has been busy fighting for their clients in personal injury, workers’ compensation and criminal defense cases ever since. Scott and Ben bring over 33 years combined experience and knowledge to work for their clients.

Scott Girdwood

Scott Girdwood was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where he graduated from Terry Sanford High School. From a young age, Scott knew that it was his calling to be an attorney for the people, protecting their rights. Since 2004, Scott has been exclusively representing injured clients and those accused of crimes or traffic violations. Much to his partner’s chagrin, Scott is a loyal fan of the NC State Wolfpack.

Benjamin D. Williams

Ben Williams was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he graduated from Myers Park High School. Ben began his legal career in 2003, representing injured people under the mentorship of the attorneys at the prestigious Charlotte law firm of Gerdes, Mason, & Simpson, LLP. In 2006, Ben relocated to Wilmington, where he has been litigating and fighting for the injured. Ben is a proud husband and father to twin boys who keep him on his toes. Much to his partner’s chagrin, Ben is a loyal fan of the UNC Tar Heels.
